Our Digestive System and Our Urinary System
I used this powerpoint in my grade 6 Oral English class in my Wonders of the Body Unit. I actually tended to use this particular powerpoint over two lessons - one for the digestive system and one for the urinary system.
As opposed to this unit as I was - I found the kids to be quite curious, so I was actually surprised by how interested they were in the topic (unlike their teacher at the start!).
They seemed to work quite well. I also found a little 3D digestion video off youtube which I also played which the kids really like! For science classes like these, I definitely recommend some short videos - the kids love them! Sometimes the language is a bit advanced, but the visual is a great stimuli!
