What does she do? She is a teacher. Powerpoint job game
A PowerPoint game I made to teach a variety of jobs and reinforce pronouns. The first slide says "What does (he or she) do?" and I obscured the occupation but keeping the shape using Photoshop. The second slide has the obscured picture along side the regular one along with the answer. Example: "He is a doctor. He helps sick people."
I played as a game with class divided in two teams. Set a time limit for each side to guess occupation (only one guess-I have a small white board for them to write final answer on, otherwise everyone yells different answers) - if wrong the other team can try to ´steal a point´. I gave bonus points depending on their response to what each person´s job requires. It was a fun way to teach jobs (AGAIN) plus sneak in some grammar!
