|   | Flashcards:  Alphabet Game - Places in the City 
							Groups of about 6 students.
Divide each small group into two teams and give them a set of cards.
Each card has letters of the alphabet BUT some are missing.
Teams have to figure out which letters are missing and use them to come up with a word.
The first team (within each small group) to guess the word gets a point.  Words are related to places in the city.
The team that didn’t get a point has to give the definition of that word in English.
For example:
Missing letters:  k-a-b-n / Word:  Bank / Definition:  A bank is a place where you can cash checks, open a savings account, you can get a credit card...
Small groups continue repeating the same procedure until they run out of cards or time.
NOTE:  Some places in the city are formed by two words, but some of the cards have only one.  Students have to figure out the first word and then think of a way to complete it to end up with the correct name of the place.  For example:
