National Stereotypes

Although talking about stereotypes may be a dodgy subject if not monitored carefully, it is also a nice lighthearted way to practise the description of people´s character. The activity focuses on "positive" traits and does not intend to be offensive to anyone. It may be used as the starting-point for a whole-class discussion: ask the students if they agree or disagree with the presented statements or try to describe their own character to their classmates.
