The PowerPoint presentation is aimed to encourage students to practice their oral English. In particular with the process of inviting someone to a place. For example: “Would you like to go to the swimming pool next week?” First it lists different sentences that can be used to invite people. “Would you like to…” “How about we…” “Let’s…” “Shall we…” It then goes through different responses that could be used in a conversion like this (both positive and negative). It includes some nice pictures and custom animations that I have added to it. Check it out! I usually pair up the students with dialogue sheets afterwards and ask them to practice the sentences structures they have just learnt. Hope you find this useful!
