English powerpoint: What will Happen in the Future? What will Happen in the Future?

This lesson uses ´will,´ to predict what might happen in the future based on what is happening in the present. The powerpoint outlines the language, with pictures, gives examples of the kinds of sentences we might make, and then the students are asked to complete the worksheet, saying what will happen to them personally, to their country, and to the world. The plenary is small group discussion and whole class feedback - as you prefer, and have time for. So the lesson can really be taught with a conversation focus, or with a writing focus. You could use it to introduce a whole class discussion, especially with adults of mixed backgrounds. It´s a useful lesson for practising tense - particularly the present continuous, and future with will. I´m largely using it to check students´ sentence structures. Hope someone finds it useful - I think this lesson is not bad. I´m using it to introduce a short series of lessons on future with will. Please see the accompanying worksheet, which you will need alongside this powerpoint.
