Chinese Zodiac (Animal Riddle Game based on the Chinese Zodiac)
This is a slideshow IŽd used for a large group game during Chinese New Year. IŽd put up a large image of the Chinese Zodiac and the kids took turns throwing a sticky ball (or you could use magnetic darts). The children had to read out the riddle related to the animal whom their sticky ball landed on.
Option 2

This slides could be used as an Guess the Animal Game on the IWB. Just add animations to the animals so that only the words are visible initially. The picture floats in once the kids have given you the right answer.
Option 3
--------
This could be used as a reading activity.
Print out the slides and cut out each animal riddle separately. Put the riddles on one side and the pictures of the animals on the other side of the board. The children need to match the riddle with the right picture.
The possibilities are endless :-))
