IELTS Speaking Tips and how it is assessed
This ppt is useful for IELTS preparation classes and explains the outline and typical topics for the IELTS Exam. It also explains who the IELTS examiners are and the need for the candidates to prepare for a variety of accents. The ppt also explains how the speaking is assessed. It is recommended you download and provide students with the public band descriptors prior to the presentation. If you are in China you will have the china IELTS website a translation of the public band descriptors. It is recommended you use the Official IELTS Practice materials and the students view some sample IELTS Speaking interviews. This ppt would be useful in the final stages of IELTS Preparation. I have listed as intermediate but you may need to prepare students for the presentation prior to giving it.
