Stone Soup: Retold by Rochelle :-)
This story is 100 procent rewritten by me, the way that I tell it when teaching it. Currently I am using it with 3-6 year olds who live in Sweden with English as their mother tongue, but it is an awesome story for pre intermediate ESL students. We are using it to learn about vegetables and sharing. (You can extend the amount of vegetables that get added to the soup so everyone can have a turn at role play in the story. )
It is a great addition if you are teaching themes such as Harvest, food, vegetables, sharing etc. It has also been a great springboard for me to introduce the theme of where vegetables grow.
