English powerpoint: World News Review World News Review

Prepared for a conversation group - ask what the students remember from the international news last year. Then display the photos (one news story a page) an get them to identify the news story and any details they remamber. Last slide shows all the photos and "headlines" students must match headlines to the photos - Arrows will appear click by click linking the headlines and photos. Also look for my related matching exercise (also published today) which can be printed and students match the headline and the story summary (which is split in two parts/ different rows) Students really enjoyed it.
