This is the 1st of 4 powerpoint presentatios I did to introduce the past simple of the verb to be. My students loved it! If you want (I have done it in my original ppts)you can add some songs. I have for Elvis: Jailhouse rock Merilyn Monroe: I wanna be loved by you Freddie Mercury: We are the champions Neil Armstrong: his first radio contact to earth with his famous sentence "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". I hope your students loved it as much as mine did! Good work and thanks for sharing your materials!
