Hi, everyone. I have not uploaded in a while. This is my first PowerPoint here. It is for students learning traditional Public Speaking practice delivery through listening and imitation of famous speeches, namely, Churchill´s famous "blood, toil, tears and sweat" speech, the Neil Armstrong´s short but powerful "small step" and ends with Dr. Martin Luther King´s "I Have a Dream." I use mp3 files, but I think you can find YouTube links easily. I´m sure that all these sound files are in the public domain. Students love to imitate Churchill´s and King´s styles. I concentrate on Churchill´s pause/articulation and King´s pitch/intonation (e.g., "100 years later"). I hope you and your students enjoy the lesson! I have kept in the PP relevant lesson plans.
