1. Group up: 4 people as a group, according to their birthday, name A, B, C, D
2. use Placemat- divid a piece of blank paper into 4 parts A, B, C, D, each person write in their parts : what sort of animals you have seen in the zoo?
3. Hand out Australian coins, talk about the animals there.
4. Famous animals in Australia- click the link in each animal, play the videos.
5. Group up all As, Bs,Cs and Ds, discuss the animals according to the information they have got from the videos or their own research : Group A – Koala
B – Kangaroo
C – Platypus
D – Emu
6. Back to home group, which has A, B,C, D in each group, share the information.
7. Question the students ramdonly.
8. Watch the Comedy - in the link "Have fun".
9. Write the things they have learned about these four animals.
