English powerpoint: ABCs of Philadelphia, a Tour of History, Sights, and Culture--Part 4 ABCs of Philadelphia, a Tour of History, Sights, and Culture--Part 4

This is part 4 of a 4 part set of slides about Philadelphia. The slides are arranged like an ABCs picture book. This part covers Valley Forge and William Penn. It has an extensive bibliography at the end of the slideshow. All images are licensed under creative commons copyleft or in the public domain and properly cited. Originally I created the slideshow for some students who needed extra enrichment beyond the classroom. They were learning about giving directions, and were elderly immigrants who did not participate in class using the textbook. They seemed to appreciate seeing the authentic materials and sights they were able to visit in the city. It got them talking and using their English.
