Countries and Present progressive
This is a slide show to teach the names of some countries, also to practise present continuous. I used some pictures of my students in the original PPT, but I deleted them from the uploaded version. I suggest you add some photos too, because the kids love it! I also have a suggestion for you for follow up exercise, print out the flags, put them up all around the classroom, and say sentences like: Dora is travelling to Spain. Tell the kids if they hear their names they have to find the appropriate flag and stand next to it. After a few rounds, kids can tell each other where to go.
