Suitable for high Intermediate to Advanced. This is a 2-part ppt (sorry, the pictures killed me) on the topic of Blue Collar Vs. White Collar jobs in America -- pros & cons of each, stigmas, history, trends. I teach in China, so there is one single slide (easily removed) tying the topic to China, but other than that, this can be used in any country. This encourages speaking, discussing social stereotypes and perceptions, career choices. Also gives vocabulary in context. If you want to choose different careers to compare, I have included the website I used for source material at the bottom of the slides. I hope you enjoy!! :-)
