Writing, verb tense review and movie plot line task. 1 hour lesson.
This is a great Powerpoint that I did with my high school class in our first week. I had no idea of their writing level at the time, so the lesson starts out as a review exercise. For the review part, you will need to print out some verb tense tables, and maybe a short exercise on irregular verbs. (optional). For the final writing task, you will need the movie trailer for īThe dawn of the planet of the apesī and īTerminator 2: Judgement day. This is a great exercise that the students have to do. They will watch the trailer, then come up with a plot line that best suits the movie. Then, once they have done them both, they have to make their own up. This can be made into an extremely fn, and interactive lesson. Enjoy!!!
