| | Lucky colours game - Teaching colours
This game is very useful to teach colours.
I taught colours words for my grade 1 students last week. Here is my lesson plan, it really worked although it was quite hard to control my students because they were too excited.
-Firstly, i taught my students how to say the words and show them how the words are written.
- Then, I get them to play game: Show me ... (I said: show me something red, and sts will point to something which is red or show teacher sts red ...)
- Next, I got them to play this powepoint game: They can see three colours in each slide, they will choose one colour that they think is the lucky one. Then teacher spins the colour, if that studentīs guess is right, they get one present (Candy, sticker ...). Then, that student tells teacher how to write the words by choosing a, b, or c. Continue the game with other students
- Last, I got the sts to play: The Magic Box game. I already prepared a box with many things inside (leaves, carrots, cucumber, toothbrush, orange, banana, comb, plastic bag ...) Sts take one thing from that box, show their friends and say: It is ... (red, green, yellow ...)
Hope your sts enjoy the games, too! Copyright 17/12/2016  duongnguyen87
