Giving/understanding instructions: IKEA Garden Table Tarnö
Exercise for technical/ business English students about understanding/ giving instructions for assembling/ disassembling a garden table. The exercise is based on a set of pictorial instructions for an IKEA garden table (see link at top of worksheet). First part involves putting the instructions in the correct order, second part is a semi-structured exercise to write your own instructions, third part is a free speaking activity about giving instructions for flat-pack furniture.
