Holiday bingo
Before students get to work, practice asking questions and short answers in past tense. Mind the correct verb forms. Then Ss mingle around and ask questions. When they find somebody who did one of the activities, they put his/her name in the square. You might like to set some rules - e.g. they can only ask the same student just 2 questions. When they connect the squares in a line, a column or a diagonal line, they call out BINGO. You can also challenge FULL HOUSE BINGO if possible. After the activity students can sum up in plenum what they´ve learnt about individual classmates or each student can choose one square and talk for half a minute in greater detail.
