Practicing future tense in the form of a science experiment. Pick a very simple question (the sheet has a ball rolling across a desk, but you of course can change that), and have students form a hypothesis. For example, "I think that the ball will roll across the table and fall off. Then it will bounce 4 times..." etc. Then, under observation have them use past tense to record what happened. The students are able to see future and past tense next to each other, and hopefully get the difference.
