English worksheet: Vortigern - a historical drama sketch Vortigern - a historical drama sketch

This sketch was written to help teach early British History to Romanian teenagers. It covers part of the ´dark age´ period when the Celtic language was being replaced by English. The two characters did exist but there is no evidence (that I´ve seen) that they ever actually met. The speech is contemporary British. As a follow-up, I set some comprehension questions ranging from the simple to ones that get the students to suggest ´what happened next´ to the Celts and their language.
