Vocabulary build-up
This activity is a warmer. Pair up students and give each pair a dictionary. With the three cues from each question, they must find the word that fits with the cues. This activity will keep students busy. If they cannot find the word, it is up to the teacher to give an extra clue without giving too much away. After, Teachers can drill the words; word dictation, or even have students create a story using some of the words. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy!
