Valentine´s Day in Japan: Rhyming (includes worksheet)
Intermediate-Advanced. This is a lesson plan (with worksheet!) made for Japanese students, but is adaptable to other countries. First, students learn about the differences between their country´s and the USA´s celebrations of Valentine´s Day. Then, they learn about rhymes by listening to a song to pick out the rhyming words, and making a few simple rhymes themselves. Finally, they make a "Roses are red, violets are blue..." poem.
