Parts of Speech Game
This activity can be either a competition among class members or a "beat the clock" game and can serve as a reinforcement/review after studying various parts of speech. The students may work in pairs or individually to list their own examples of the parts of speech selected by the teacher. This game is easily adaptable, i.e., they may use the letters of a holiday, school name, etc., instead of the first letters of their own names.
