Places Around Town: Where, When, Who Questions (part one)
The topic of this worksheet is ´places around town.´ It´s purpose is for students to practice asking and answering ´Where´ ´When´ and ´Who´ questions, using the correct preposition associated with these questions.
The first page demonstrates how the questions are asked and answered. Students can use this as a guide or the teacher may use it as a transparency, when teaching the students. It´s color coded to help identify the specific prepositions.
The second page requires the students fill in the names of the places and form ´Where´ ´When´ ´Who´ questions/answers with the information provided. They should do this on a separate paper, following the same format shown on the first page.
I did this with my class of 30 students, they really enjoyed it, and it helped them a lot in understanding how to form and answer such questions.
