Animal idioms bluff
This is an activity for upper-intermediate students and above. It is based on the old TV programme Call My Bluff. Students are given 5 different idioms all with an theme around animals. Each idiom has two definitions. Students first decide which definitions is correct. They then half to write another incorrect definition. Finally, working in teams, they read the idioms and definitions to the other team to score points.
