Conversation Squares-Weather and Seasons
This is a great handout to spur on talking! Itīs great to use as a game with groups of 3-4 students. (Supplies needed: dice.) There a few ways to do this. One student rolls both dice. The first die is the choice of box, the second is the choice of question. For Example: If a student rolls 2 and 3, The student will look at box #2 and Question #3. The student then asks that question and the other students in the group answer. Students love this and it keeps the conversation going. Iīve also used this in a different way. You can laminate and cut out each square, then give each student a square. Then you have a student roll one die. Whatever number the student rolls is the number of the question the students will ask. students must find a partner and ask that question! Itīs really fun:) Hope you enjoy.
