This is an idea I got from īTeaching Multi-level Classes in ESLī by Natalie Hess from the Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers series. It incorporates reading, writing, listening and speaking. The paragraph describing the picture has a cloze activity appropriate for beginner, intermediate and advanced students.
