CATCH US SNAP GAME page 2 CATCH US SNAP GAME page 2

It´s a fun game. You can start talking about trips, what they take in their lugage. Then tell them they are going on a trip to someplace(they can choose the place or you decide one) and there are 3 thieves at the airport trying to get their clothes. Teacher´s instruction: 1. Print page 1 one time 2. Print page 2 four times 3. Cut out the chart and glue it on a cardboard then cut each piece of clothes and the thieves individually. How to play: 1. Shuffle the cards and give the same number of cards to each student, they can´t look the cards they got. They have to hold the card pile facing down on their hands. 2. The first student gets one of his card facing down then turn it on the table/floor, each player should do so by turning the card away from himself. This ensures that the player does not see the card before his opponents have a chance to do the same. (The player should also turn the card quickly, so that he´s not giving himself a disadvantage) then he has to say the name of the clothes out loud. 3. The next student does the same, until two pieces of the same clothes are turned in sequence( for example, when one student turns the socks and the next student also turns de socks), 4. When this happens any student can snap the middle pile and say CATCH! The first student that snaps the pile gets all the cards. He adds them to the bottom of his facing-down. 5. Also, when the thieves card is turned (a single one, does not need to turn one in the sequence-it means that the thieves can take all the clothes), they should do the same, snap the pile and say CATCH. 6. If the first student that snaps the pile doesn’t say CATCH he does not get the cards, the next hand to snap the pile and say CATCH gets it. 7. Play continues until one player wins all of the cards. That player wins the game.
