JOBS/PROFESSIONS chain game PART 2 of 3
The idea of the chain game is as old as the hills, but the cards are entirely my creation :) The game works like this: you give the cards out to your students. The student who has got the receptionist card starts. (S)he reads out: I have got the receptionist, have you got the waiter? and puts the card on the desk. The person who has got the waiter names the next job to be sought and the game continues until all the cards are on the desk. To make this a little more exciting, I usually tell my Ss that they have a time limit of five minutes to finish the chain. Or I turn it into a competition in which two groups try to outfast the opponent. Hope you and your students will enjoy it!
