reporting verbs
Two good exercises to learn the different structures used by different reporting vers: v+infonitive, verb + gerund, verb + object + preposition + gerund, etc.
In the first exercise students have to classify the verbs given according to the structure they use.
In the second exercise learners are to use those reporting verbs to REWRITE some sentences with a specific reporting verb making any necessary changes in the structure of the sentence.
