"Thank you" - speaking activity
This was originary a song activity (fill the gaps) that I turned into a speaking activities. The listen to the song first and after promote a speaking debate about how important is to say THANK YOU in our lives. Donīt let the students talk about it for more than 15 minutes.
After that, give the cards to the students; they will have to find someone in the classroom (you could extend it to the school environment) to sany thank you for each of the reasons.
Each student will have to choose one student for each sentence and explain why.
This activity made my students talk a lot and it was real fun too!
