Where are these famous people from?
It can be used as a warm-up activity or after students have learned countries and "Where are you from?", " Where is she from?"...
There are two big cards: A and B. Both have the same pictures with famous people and the same option of countries, however card A has the correct reponse for a famous person that card B doesnīt and vice-versa.
In pairs, S with card B begins by asking: Is Avril from .....( an option S has on his/her card)? Student A should answer by saying: Yes, she is or No, she isnīt.Then, itīs Aīs turn. Is David Beckham from ...(one of the three options on card A)? Student with card B says: Yes, he is or No, he isnīt.
Students might keep trying until they get the correct answer.
I suggest you laminate them after printing...
