Comparatives
This is a really simple exercise to get students using comparatives in a real life situation. Students work in pairs and write down comparisons with their partner then read them out to the class. NOTE: I found on using this worksheet that students would write about other students not just their partner so at the end of the lesson we had a competition - one student would stand up and read one of his comparatives, for example ŽI am taller than JohnŽ John would immediately have to stand up and read one of his comparatives and so on. I tried to keep the students going as quickly as possible which added to the fun.
