A few landmarks on British history
These documents were meant for teenagers who needed (and asked for!) some landmarks on British history. At first, I asked them to describe each picture (they were able to guess the century. I gave them the names of the characters; they only found Shakespeare and Churchill. They had to find the dates and what they were famous for, to fill in the chart. Then we worked on the past simple on the last 2 worksheets.
