phonics - start and finish
This is a tiny worksheet I made for my phonics kids. (Usually there are four tables to a A4 page but I had to cut it down due to size restrictions)
You should blow up the pictures and put on flash cards to pre-teach the vocab and letters before giving out this activity.
The words are "cake", "sad", "sit", "bed", "cat"
Of course, I recommend you simply use your own pre-taught pictures if you have any. These were all ripped from images.google.com searches.
The idea is, the students write down the starting and finishing SOUND of the word.
