Finish the sentence
This would have to be modified to age appropriate material. For example, a 14-old cannot have a flat tire (well, not legally anyway), so the sentence would need to be modified to the age of the students you are teaching. I like using this activity sheet, first as a reinforcement for theory, in a large group activity whereby the teacher solicits student after student with the same half a sentence. The second part could include a written follow-up where each student has to remember (and write) one of the sentences or invent one of his own.
