CELTA skills assignment lesson activity
This is an pair activity that I prepared for the CELTA skills lesson, to exploit useful lexis in the text. Students skim the text to find words in the numbered lines that match each definition. There is a second page with the answers, that you can print on a transparency and use for feedback after the students have completed the task. I asked the students for the answers and revealed the answers on the transparency one by one. It was a lower intermediate adult class.
