Christmas: How Well Do You Know Your Christmas Carols?
This activity helps students learn about initials while learning about Christmas music. This is a great group activity. Simply, they will write carol titles that match the initials. For example: SN = Silent Night. This is best done after kids have recently learned carols. Also, having a resource to look up titles can augment research skills. I think middle school would enjoy this, too.
