Creative warm-up activity: Fictionary - Make up your own definition!
This is a fun (warm up) acivity for advanced students (I picked really hard words). The class is devided into 2 groups. Each group gets 5 words, including the definition of each word. They have to come up with 2 other defintions and write all three definitions underneath the word.
Afterwards, the groups take turns in reading out a word and its 3 defintions. The other group has to guess the correct definition.
The goal is to trick the other group by a "false" definition.
