English worksheet: used to ( past habits) lesson plan used to ( past habits) lesson plan

It is a good lesson plan to teach "used to". In the presentation stage, you can use your personal past- now photos to give the meaning. You can tell your students that you are going to talk about a little girl. Say "Letīs go back to 1980s" "There was a little girl. She used to live in Istanbul, she used to play basketball, she used to play in the garden..." You should show the related photos while saying those sentences. Then you can start talking about that little girlīs now. You want them to guess who this girl is. When they find out that little girl is the teacher, they will be more intereted. Now you can compare her past and now by saying "She used to be a student but she is not now", " She used to have black hair but she does not have now... you see she has blonde hair now"
