reported speech game
I cut the cards and give one to each student. On a piece of paper they have to write: .......... said (or told me, asked ) and the indirect sentence. I check that they are all correct. After that, they swap their own papers (the indirect sentences one) and each student must say aloud their own character and what that person said using the paper they have received. You always get some funny combinations such as "The headmaster asked if I wanted to marry him".
