CELTA course Focus On The Learner assignment
This is the Learner Focus case study that I wrote for my CELTA course. It is a case study of two students, both upper intermediate, and native speakers of Catalan and fluent in Spanish. I´ve also included the questions that were given to us to help us focus our observations (page 1), the assessment criteria (also page 1), and an annex (page 5) with suggestions for questions to use in interviews with the learners. I used a programme called PhoTransEdit for the phonics in the document, and these characters may or may not display correctly in a downloaded document. Please let me know if you would like a PDF of this document, as this displays the characters correctly. The tutor described it as ´a thorough and fascinating case study´, so I guess he was pleased with it!
