The market place: Just a little nibble
This action takes place at a fruit and vegetable market. This activity is for children learning English as a foreign laguage. After introducing the students to vocabulary relating to a market, fruits and vegetables, I move onto incidents taking place at a market. This role-play allows the students to characterise and use different character traits and emotions. They also learn how an encounter has a beginning, a middle, tension or conflict and a resolution whether it be positive or negative.
