What do we get from these plants and animals?
The aim of this worksheet is to have previously learnt that vocabulary (corn, wheat, rice, hen, cow, pig), and now the students label the photos.
Then draw in the remaining space an item of food we can get from them. For example, they draw popcorn, bread, paella, eggs, milk, cheese, ham.... They label those products as well.
Having this worksheet as reference, they can use the vocabulary for lots of games in the class.For example, sitting down in a circle, one child goes around his mates touching their heads, saying "corn" on every touch, till he says "popcorn", and that child has to stand up and chase him around the circle, trying to avoid the 1st child taking his seating space. That would be repeated with all the plants or animals. THe kids really like it.
