Practising with to and ing verbs for pre-intermediate to intermediate worksheet

I used this exercise in conjunction with the battleships games where students had to guess where the opposite team had put a ship. Each time they hit they had to complete a sentence. If they did this successfully they got a hit. If not the hit was a duff one. Create a 12x12 grip and make/draw some ships: a flagship 5 squares, two cruisers four squares, a frigate three squares and a sub two squares. So a flagship needs 5 hits to sink etc etc.
