Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces ( song )
At the beginning of the schoolyear to " brush up " tenses( present perfect/preterit/future/simple present ). Enables a nice revision, followed by a " do you know how to ask ..." activity for instance.
HOW TO :
Have the pupils listen to the song once without the worksheet. Then hand out so that they can read for themselves : they will then have to spot the questions, and as they listen again ( with pauses ) they copy them down in the right order.
Classwork to finish, practising the questions or creating others, explaining some tenses maybe if necessary.
