Making sentences and questions about Annie - past simple, present perfect.
This is a useful tool to practice using the past simple, present perfect simple and continuous and past continuous. I usually ask students to:
1. make sentences about Annie (sometimes I prompt them to make them use all the tenses)
2. make questions to go with their sentence
3. interview each other and produce a similar table for their parnter
4. tell the class about their partner
The visualisation helps them understand the use of the present perfect with ´for´ and ´since´ and see the difference between events that happen once, and actions and states that continue
