John´s new computer - pronouns
A simple story for reading in class or group work where students have to identify use of pronouns (he, it) in place of nouns. Gives students an idea why it is important to use pronouns in reading, writing and speaking because without them, the story is repetitive and tedious to read. Story is designed to be read out aloud. Teachers can then ask students further questions on what the story is about and define feelings (angry etc).
